What is my role in the revolution as an artist?

Well, it’s always changing.

Sometimes my only goal is to make folks laugh.

Sometimes I want to rage and release the depth and fullness of my wrath.

Sometimes I yearn to get lost in a well of vulnerability.

Sometimes it’s the offering to evil of humility.

Whatever route is taken:

the key ingredient is humanity,

the POV is Black femme,

the destination is truth.
