about me
I was born in Syracuse, studied in Binghamton and now I live in Brooklyn: a New Yorker through and through… and through. From an early age I’ve put my endless energy into anything I could get my hands…or feet on: a clarinet, a diving board, a balance beam, or a script. Simultaneously being an athlete and performer throughout my life has helped me stay true to my multi-faceted nature.
After performing on and off Broadway [1776: The Musical (revival), Love + Science] respectively, and appearing on Hulu, NBC, and AppleTv+, I have spent the last few years resetting and establishing myself as an artist.
Resonating with the heart-forward greats like Maya Angelou, Nina Simone, and Alok Menon, I am most interested in being involved in stories that center humanity and all the complexities of culture…with humor sewn throughout.
My acting technique is rooted in physicality and imaginative play. I excel at playing a multitude of roles, exploring my chameleon-like abilities (cuz why not put these accent skills to work!). Creating in a grounded, but playful environment with an emphasis on collaboration is my jam!
When I’m not performing you can find me tumbling in a gym, practicing ASL, meditating, or indulging on some vegan chocolate ice cream…at any time of year.
Beyond acting, I am currently writing my one-woman play “Wired.”, starting the year off directing a few things, and getting some behind-the-camera action by creating short films every month with fellow artists.
